UPDATE. 11-10-2018

UPDATE FOR FAMILY!

Well, experienced a lot in 2018. Two operations oh my venous fistula! Hospitalized below bp went too low. Was acting crazy and screaming for Irv In the treatment room. Don't know. Why my bp dropped so low That I lost reality for an hour! But now on meds to raise bp. Still don't know why it dropped. Had two heart Caths. Still no answer. Stomach has been bothering me a lot. Finally, after 3 months, seeing doc next week. Ugh!!!!! Of course I have to see sinus doc again. Had sinus surgery in April, with no relief!!!!! Ugh! Ugh!

Good news: Kidney Transplant Clinics in Birmingham and Nashville will evaluate me for transplant. I am still raising money.

Irv and I enjoying retirement! Thinking about a day trip. Hmmmmmm. We have more aches between us than an entire nursing home! But we SURVIVE! 😆

THOUGHTS FOR TODAY, SEP 15, 2018

THIS IS SO TRUE! So many times my spirit was dead due to illnesses in my body. But, I get in my praise modes: FIRST IN MY MIND AND THEN WHEN IHAVE STRENGTH OUT OF MY MOUTH! He can take a dire situation and flip the script. When things seem to be the end, A. NEW AND FANSINATING START APPEARS!!!! "But I can truly say God has made a way, I've got a TESTIMONY!" - this is a verse from a song written by "Minister Malcolm Speed! I truly have kept this song in my heart!!!

MY Dilemma

SAINTS, my fistula was bleeding. Irv got it to stop. Called doc. Told to go to ER. When I was in hospital last week they messed up my fistula with clamps. I told them not to use. They did any way. Three times. UGH!!!!! I am leaving ER now. They put liquid skin on open sore on fistula. See Dr Stuckey in morning re fistula. See Dr Smelzer, kidney doc, at 145. And on top of that. Seeing gastro doc Thursday because of pains in abdomen and stomach. On top of that. Getting MRI of spine Friday cause my back and left bursur hurts.

THANKSGIVING FOR TODAY, JULY 14, 2018: I was thinking! There are several reasons to need a kidney transplant. In my case it System Lupus Erythematosus. I was diagnosed at 18 and told I had 10 years to live. But God saw fit to bless me with a son I was told I would never have. Irvin Lee Isbell Jr has been a blessing in my life. His wife Breana Elise Isbell has been a blessing to me also. Both are strong parents. They gave me 7 Boobies. For girl from Beaumont TX who was told she would be dead at 28, I am truly blessed with a husband Irvin Isbell who loved me in college and still married me not knowing if I would have kids. His love of me and the support of my 6 close friends (@jantaylor, Phyllis Alcorn, Claretta McDaniel, @donnabapriste, Christina Jones, Leslie Landrum) and my Zeta Sisters, encouraged me to finish college, even when I kept getting sick. The first Zeta I met was Roz Thigpen She fought and got a Zeta chapter on the campus of Washington University in St. Louis. That was a great reason to stay at WASHU, become a ZETA and do lots of community Work which continued even after my graduation as a coach, etc. Never forget SOROR Beverly Fitzgerald Jacquet making us spray her cinder blocks WHITE. They sucked up the paint! Geez! We had so much fun at WashU. But the work as A Chem E major was Hard. But so worth it!!!!! Man I am running off the mouth because I am grateful for so many things!
