I just watch a Beyoncé Mass video

Janice Mitchell Isbell I actually enjoyed this ploy to get people into the church. Sometimes you have to meet people where they are without judgement. Some in traditional "church" are missing the point of its purpose. We are there to entertain the already saved. I remember when First Church was crucified for opening its doors on Sunday to get the unsaved into church by meeting them where there were. I thought that was great. The woman of God who led this mass use the words of Bey to get people to discuss how they really felt, taking off the masks! they are able to be broken to forgiveness. Some of us have be torn down to ground to admit how we really feel! In that brokedness our hearts are fertile to receive the LOVE OF GOD and walk FREE in his love. IJS

Janice Mitchell Isbell I just told my husband that when I was a preteen and teen, I would rewrite secular songs into gospel songs to honor God. The way I praise in church is because of my TESTIMONY! I see God in all types of music, especially country music. It's all about getting his joy deep in your soul to ultimately have relief from what you are going through! Then your struggle becomes a journey walking with the Holy Spirit for comfort!
