MORE INFO - LEARNED A LOT TODAY ALSO (MY BLOG COMMENT FOR TODAY)

I have told the NP at my nephrologist that I am ready to start hemodialysis. 

I have been feeling really bad and unable to eat.

I have been having nose bleeds everyday.

She said she has to rule out other things before we have dialysis.

I am seeing an ENT and will have a colonoscopy.

I had colon cancer and was bleeding inside that caused my numbers to tank.

Could be these nose bleeds have caused my numbers to tank.

 

I READ THE NOTES OF THE CARE GIVERS and noted the stress on them.

My husband did comment that a nurse needed to be there to watch if I were to do HEMO during my sleep.

But I am rethinking things.

I can dialyze right after I get off work 530-930 p.m. DAILY,ensures he is awake while I dialyze.

Otherwise, we will have to hire someone to come in.  I DO NOT WANT TO STRESS HIM!

The caregivers are struggling just as hard as the kidney patients.

Just had not put that much thought into it.

But am glad I read the notes of the caregivers to give me THEIR PERSPECTIVES!

 

May have to do 6 hours of dialysis each day.

But it is better I do it in the evening instead of while I am sleep.

JUST SO MUCH TO CONSIDER!

 

Then again, I may not have to be on dialysis for another 10 years.

God is and has been good and gracious to me.

Learned that some people started dialysis and then did not need it.

Kidneys started functioning again.

I AM STILL PRAYING FOR A COMPLETE HEALING IN ACCORDANCE WITH GOD'S WILL!
