After searching and search for prepared meals to meet the requirements of my Renal Diet, Healthy Choice is the best choice. Although no where near the requirements I would get with cooking at home, I AM JUST TOO TIRED.
I compare WEIGHT WATCHERS, HEALTHY CHOICE, BOSTON MARKET, ZATARANS, MARIE CALLENDERS, CORKY'S, STOUFFERS, ETC.....
The ones I looked resulted in HEALTHY CHOICE in the following ranges:
PROTEIN, 13-16 g, Goal 80 g / day
SODIUM, 440-570 mg, Goal <2000 mg / day
POTASSIUM, 450-750 mg, Goal <2000 mg / day
PHOSPHORUS, 20% RDA
CALCIUM, 4-20% RDA
SUGAR, 9-25 g,
CARBOHYDRATES, 45 g each meal X 3 + 15 g each snack = 165 per day
My goal is to each less than 2000 calories / day
SOOOOOOO! After 2 hours, I am almost done with I am suppose to do for my REANAL DIET (PRE-DIALYSIS).
